TMZ.com has Puma Swede/Helicopter Pilot sex footage

February 5, 2009

From Tmz.com

puma_swede1
Puma Swede

TMZ has obtained an explosive videotape — well, a prematurely explosive videotape — showing the extremely graphic and dangerous activities inside the chopper of celeb pilot David Martz… and let’s just say they don’t call it the cockpit for nothin’.

The tape proves Martz — who’s currently being investigated by the FAA — was undeniably distracted by his porn star passenger Puma Swede … for 47.5 seconds anyway … while his chopper was flying high above San Diego and his pants were flying down around his ankles. And there were many minutes of foreplay, where at least one hand — in particular, several fingers — was definitely not on the controls.

While Martz recklessly buzzed over crowded freeways and residential neighborhoods, his passenger took off her clothes and orally took control of Martz’ other joystick … if you catch our drift.

The camera rolled for 45 minutes, though the flight was longer. It begins with Puma topless on the tarmac at Montgomery Field. Puma says the in-flight entertainment was a way to “compensate” Martz for allowing his chopper to be used for a porno shoot in a nearby hangar.

Martz has had his pilot’s license suspended twice and revoked twice, but he’s still flying — at least for now.

Julie Simone blogs about ‘The Factory’

February 5, 2009

From Julie Simone’s myspace blog

Julie Simone

the Factory is a magical place in some ways. Yesterday’s shoot was really challenging. i rigged a really hard position but there were some technical problems that made it unbearable for the model. things in general weren’t as smooth as they usually are when i direct. i wonder if part of it was that i hadn’t rigged anyone since October.

today’s rigging was much more “on”. i was more in tune with what i was doing. i think it helped that i started the day on-camera with the lovely Lorelei Lee. I don’t usually rig off-screen/for scenes i’m not in, it
fucks with my creative process a bit. the scene with Lorelei was great. She’s so open and has an ethereal aura. it’s not hard to connect with her energy. she’s definitely someone special.

next i rigged Satine Phoenix. everyone has been telling me for the last couple years that i should work with her and now i see why. i love it when i put a model in a hard position and they can take it. her elbows were crunched and raised high above her head in a stappado, her upper body was pulled down while her legs were pulled apart while she balanced in stiletto heels. she looked beautiful in my latex. my favourite position was at the end, though. she was nude in a classic slave tie. at times she looked so peaceful as if she had gone off into a zen space. i almost took a picture with my cell phone, something i’ve never even comtemplated doing while on set before. sometimes simplicity can be breathtaking.

my time here so far has been inspiring. i had planned to make these my last shoots and retire from modeling/being on-camera. if Chanta likes what i have done, i may make her sites the exception. i enjoy these shoots in a way that I don’t with other shoots.

Q&A on Desi Foxx’s Blog: Scene Rates

February 5, 2009

From Porninthevalley.com

desifoxx1
Desi Foxx

FULL QUESTION:

I know that shooting scenes pay a fairly across the board rate, right? BJ only…..straight BG…..etc. But what about now that we are all in a ‘recession’?? Do companies start offering less and less? Or am I wrong on that? It’s not like there is a lack of supply for willing girls, huh? I’m sure it can be very competitive, right? Is there alot of ‘take it or leave it’ attitude from producers/companies?

DESI’S ANSWER:

The economy is definitely affecting our whole rate system as well as the amount of work that’s available. I hear every day or so of companies that have laid people off or have shut down production at least temporarily. From what I’ve witnessed since being in The Biz over a year now, it hasn’t been stable yet so only promises to get worse. Some things happened before we got into the industry that most will say destabilized it all well over a year ago. Here’s the gist of what I can gather from it all. It’s been tough to get solid answers on this one:

From what it sounds like, the agents used to get a fee when they referred a girl for her first shoot with a company. Thus, the agency fee. It was a one time fee like a referral fee. Agents made their money from the commissions on the shoots. Somewhere, that got changed and a fee was then charged each time the girl shot. How this came about is where it gets murky. You book a girl through an agency, you pay an agency fee plus the girls rate. The agent now gets a commission from the girl on her rate, usually 10% plus an agency fee, I’ve heard anywhere from $50-$200 per booking. So I’ve been told when the agents started getting paid an agency fee every single time a girl’s booked, the companies said it was too much for them to pay, sales had already been down for some time, so they lowered the girls rates. Now, the girls look at this as “now we pay the agent twice, once for commission and then the ($100) agency fee that was part of my old shoot rate which now goes to the agent. I, as the girl, lost a $100 in this deal. The agents gained an ongoing fee. The agents feel differently about what happened here. But from everything I’ve gathered and gone over, this is the bottom line of what happened. I’m not sure how you deduce anything else from what the facts above are.

I’ve heard from both agents and girls that producers aren’t paying on time or at all. We’ve had a couple that were tough to collect. Elli had a $350 BJ scene that took 7 weeks to get, if you’ll remember back in December. A good rate for a BJ scene but not if you can’t collect it. Our agents have helped us by deferring commissions or paying for tests at times. People wonder why I talk about our agents a lot and that is why. They will get us work if at possible and they worry about our issues along the way. But agents have some big time outstanding payments to collect themselves. And many of those same companies that owe them are folding.

Our rates are down and dropping and the work is getting more scarce. There’s not many b/g’s being shot, instead lots of small stuff that gets us all through. It causes tension with everyone every time this happens. Girls will take a lower price to pay bills. Or they go around agents to save the agent fee for the company and they will pay the girls full rates. It upsets the balance and pisses the agents off. I think most of it’s economical but some producers may take advantage when they hear the going rates being paid. The smaller companies we normally shoot for pay alittle less all the time. It’s the bigger ones dropping to the indie’s lower rates and the bigger ones are the ones with all the money. Go figure right?? There’s alot of onging debate about this whole issue.

The truth is, if you look at the facts above, everyone is contributing to the problems we’re having in Porn Valley. Because it’s always been such a don’t ask, don’t tell kind of business, there’s not much of a team approach to fixing the problems. Everyone points the finger at someone else and there’s always a hidden agenda. But the fact really is that the system only works if everyone participates in making it work. The agents started a trade association. I’d like to see the girls do the same. That or get a union!!

It’s much like our country these days. The Bush Administration divided our country like never before. Our unions are all busted up. Corporate America has sucked the worker bees dry. Look at the results of what we have now!!

So, my opinion. Economy is hurting the worker bees the most here just as everywhere else in America. But you can’t support any system without the worker bees so the answer is . . . Fix it for the worker bees and they will in turn support the system. Until then, more and more girls go independent and work with smaller indie producers. We still all have bills to pay but our bills are to live, not for big houses and fancy cars!

Kelly Nichols returns to porn after 25 years

February 5, 2009

kelly_nichols1
Kelly Nichols

(Van Nuys, CA) February 5, 2009 – She hasn’t performed a boy-girl sex scene in 25 years, but lucky for fans of the Seasoned Players line…legendary performer Kelly Nichols does Tom Byron in the forthcoming Seasoned Players 8!

After playing Jessica Lange’s double in the 1976 remake of King Kong, Kelly entered the adult business in 1979, appearing in That Lucky Stiff opposite Randy West; she turned in a couple of other outstanding performances in Roommates (1982) and In Love (1983), for which Nichols won the Adult Film Association of America’s Best Actress award. A decade later, she was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Free Speech Coalition, and was inducted into the Erotic Legends Hall of Fame in 1996. Says Byron, who also directed the DVD: “Kelly Nichols is one of the all-time greatest actresses of the so-called ‘Golden Age of porn.’”

Many will recall Nichols never completely ‘disappeared’ from the porn scene; instead, over the past few years she’s appeared in many non-sex and BDSM performances (as well as working as a makeup artist behind the scenes). However, the shoot for Seasoned Players 8 marks a ‘return’ of sorts for the sultry redhead.

Adds the guy-who-popped-her-cherry-again, “It was great getting to stick my cock in Kelly again after all these years. She has always been a MAILF to me – Makeup Artist I’d Like to Fuck – so it’s totally appropriate that her comeback vehicle is in AVN’s Best MILF Series, Seasoned Players!”

There’s also another first for Kelly in Seasoned Players 8, but Evolution Distribution, who’s streeting the movie, is keeping that under wraps until a street date is announced (which will probably take place in the Spring).

For wholesale purchasing information for all Tom Byron Pictures titles, please contact Adam Hasner at 609-426-1777, extension 228, or email adam@evolutiondist.com. Please visit www.evolutiondist.com to view Tom Byron’s full catalog.

Mike South defends Kayden Kross

February 3, 2009

From Mikesouth.com

kayden_kross1
Kayden Kross

I see Kayden is back in the headlines of the lesser blogs again and it’s the same old song and dance. About the only thing they have right is the fact that a continuance was issued (not granted because Kayden didn’t ask for it)

What astounds me is how little fact there is in any of what is being said… like that I said charges have been dropped, I have never said charges were dropped. I said they will be dropped and I still expect that to be the case. I challenge any of you to show me any place where I made the statement that charges had been dropped.

They are right about one thing…It does resemble a soap opera, but….Let us step back a moment, the only reason this is a “Soap Opera” is because people like Darrah and Gene Ross and Scott Fayner keep reporting made up facts and accounts that are based on what other people are reading into it. Kayden nor myself has made any official statement except an interview with AVN where she said she couldn’t comment on the case, and that is still the case.

When the truth comes out about the so called disabled vet who lost his home and the rest of the bullshit most people will see it for what it is. Some people may well suffer consequences.

But it would be an extraordinarily poor strategy to splash everything in the porn press, This is far more important than satisfying the ego of a degenerate like Gene Ross or a moron and wannabe like Darrah, this isn’t the Jerry Springer Show or something that can be adjudicated on The Peoples Court.

There’s a reason I am behind Kayden 100%, it is because it is the right thing to do and if you knew what I know, and eventually you will, you would understand this.

Over the time I have worked with Kayden she has proven herself to be trustworthy, smart, funny, articulate and most of all a happy and honest person. She has become my friend, someone very near and dear to me. Sure she is my friend and that alone will get her my support, but in this particular instance it is much more than that, I believe her and I believe in her, she has had plenty of opportunities to lie to me and she never has and I know she isn’t about this.

I love ya Kayden, you earned that.

A few of the facts other people have stated that are 100% wrong

That Kayden is facing federal charges, She isn’t, never has been

That Kayden was investigated by the Feds, she wasn’t never has been

That Kayden is making a plea deal, she isn’t, it hasn’t even been discussed.

AVN’s Transsexual Performer of the Year Speaks Out

February 3, 2009

From Avn.com

wendy_williams11
Wendy Williams

LOS ANGELES – Wendy Williams was almost the Susan Lucci of she-male porn.

Nominated and defeated three consecutive times in the race for AVN’s Transsexual Performer of the Year trophy, Wendy finally scored her big victory in 2009 on the strength of her self-produced, award-nominated release A She-Male Gang Bang: The Interracial Version.

Sadly, the hard-working TS star wasn’t present at the AVN Awards show to bask in the glory. So we caught up with Wendy for an exclusive interview about her career, her award win, and the TS genre.

“Winning this award meant I had finally achieved the highest honor in our industry,” Wendy told AVN. “It was also a nice ‘told you so’ to the people out there that said I didn’t have the right look to achieve success. For years I worked so hard only to watch the new ‘it’ girl get all the work and backings by the bigger companies, so it just made me work harder. That’s one of the reasons I started my own production company in 2005.”

Wendy is a triple-threat: performer, director, and owner of Hot Wendy Productions. Originally from the hills of Eastern Kentucky, she began performing drag shows in college and later got into the porn biz thanks to TS star Joanna Jet.

“Joanna Jet was the person who gave me my first video scene and then offered me a job to move to L.A. and work as her assistant,” Wendy said. “She taught me the business from the inside and financially backed my first DVD, Wendy’s Wild Shemales 1. She also helped start Hot Wendy Productions.”

Since launching her company, Wendy says she’s learned to adjust her style of shooting to suit the audience.

“When I first started, I thought it was all about the penetration,” she laughed. “When shooting, I try to remember that the viewer wants to see not only the close-ups but also the facial reactions and the entire body. When I perform, it really depends on the guy and the attraction. I love to kiss, but if the guy is just there for the money and maybe not feeling the scene, I try to remember that my fans are watching and play to the camera instead.”

Asked about her own turn-ons, Wendy remarked: “Men with a full round booty and thick thighs are my weakness. When watching porn, I prefer interracial sex; my favorite part is when they film the guy on top and from behind!”

TS porn stars and men who perform with them have been the subject of much controversy on porn gossip sites such as the JM Productions-backed XXXPornTalk.com and Cindi Loftus’ LukeIsBack.com. No man has felt more of this wrath than performer Christian (a.k.a. Christian XXX). What’s Wendy’s take on the bashing?

“Christian and I have known each other before either of us were doing porn!” she said. “I am caught on the fence many times, because it hurts and angers me that Christian felt he had to ‘hide’ or alter the truth when it dealt with my genre. He and I have discussed the issue many times. and it’s hard for me to totally understand. However, when I read comments left by some people identifying transsexuals as men or stereotyping American transsexuals as spreading HIV because of Brazilian outbreaks, it really does anger me!”

Wendy admits she’s shared her bed with a few A and B-list male porn performers, but she won’t name names.

“That was behind closed doors, and all involved were straight up and honest about their intentions,” she said. “I can’t fault them for wanting it to be kept private; however, it amuses me greatly when those leaving hateful comments think Christian is the only male performer to be involved with a transsexual! I assure you that there are more admirers than you think; Christian just happens to be the most visible!”

Conventional wisdom dictates that if a man expresses interest in sucking a cock, he’s…well…gay. But according to Wendy, the audience for chicks-with-dicks identifies as straight — and that’s an important distinction to be made for adult retailers who want to push pieces of the latest tranny porn titles.

“I have dealt with many admirers of transsexuals, and I really believe that the large majority identify themselves as straight,” Wendy said. “They are attracted to the feminine appearance: long hair, breasts, smooth skin, hips, and ass. Experiencing the cock is more of a fetish, just as if they allowed a female to use a strap-on. Most would never be seen at a gay bar picking up a man because that’s not what turns them on! Bigots will scream to the roof tops that a man who deals with a cock is GAY! My response is unless you live the lifestyle or experience it, then how can you classify it?

“I really don’t like to use labels at all,so I’m glad to be classified as straight, specialty or fetish,” Wendy continued. “Men who buy our porn do NOT buy gay porn. As a business owner, when I’m traveling on my club tour I always try to stop at adult stores in the area to introduce myself and my product. One of the biggest things I noticed in the beginning was when a store had our product in the gay section. I am sure they lost a lot of potential sales because our fans wouldn’t feel comfortable shopping in that area! If you don’t have a section for transsexuals, then place us in fetish…but never the gay area.”

As niches and micro-niches continue to drive porn market trends, many a straight studio has jumped on the tranny train. But Wendy says she’s offended by some of these cash-in efforts.

“It bothers me when I see all these new companies jumping on the transsexual niche and releasing titles with names that are outright disrespectful,” she said. “As transsexuals, we identify ourselves as female, so I don’t want to see some stupid title like My Uncle has Breasts or My Girlfriend is my Boyfriend. I know we as porn directors have to come up with some gimmick title to sell DVDs, but in reality, most of these companies are straight-owned and only in the genre for the money!”

Wendy hopes to one day work with fellow AVN award-winner Belladonna and perhaps get her own volume in the popular Virtual interactive TS series produced by Devils Film.

“I am going to continue to aggravate Belladonna to do a she-male movie,” she laughs. “I am a HUGE Belladonna fan and it would be such an amazing career highlight! I also hope to work with Steve V. at Devils Film, as he has some of the best product on the shelves. His Virtual series has done well, and it would be great for me and my fans. From my own company, I will release a few new projects I have in the works while continuing my Wendy’s Wild Shemales series. Finally, I hope next year to be more visible at the AVN Awards, whether it’s presenting or anything I can be used for!”

Wendy hopes her AVN Award will allow her to get more involved in the mainstream side of the porn industry.

“[Transsexuals] sadly aren’t accepted enough on the mainstream side, and we really don’t fit on the gay side,” she said. “I have several 2009 goals; first, I want some type of role, whether sex or not, in a sex comedy or feature DVD. I think it would be ground-breaking and something fresh. Not only that, but it would bring in new fans on each side.”

In the meantime, Wendy’s grateful for her 2009 AVN trophy. She credits several past and present AVN contributors with helping her navigate the long, hard road that led to the Performer of the Year plateau.

“I have to thank [former editor] Heidi Pike, Mark Kernes and Darklady for all their advice and contacts when I first started, and for still being there for me today!” she said. “I also want to say thanks to Grooby Productions for sponsoring my gang bang this year, and finally, thanks to Eric, who has been the most supportive best friend a person could ask for!”

Adam & Eve Weathering the Porn Storm

February 3, 2009

Hillsborough, NC – Adam & Eve, America’s most trusted name in adult products, is pleased to announce 2008 sales were strong.

While many adult-oriented companies fell upon difficult times in 2008, Adam & Eve’s website (http://www.adamandeve.com/news) and mail order catalog maintained strong sales numbers for the year.

“Happily, Adam & Eve has weathered the economic downturn,” says Adam & Eve Marketing Director Chad Davis. “The year 2008 saw numerous challenges, but overall, our numbers were good. November and December sales were up over 2007 while many retailers had a dismal holiday,” Davis added.

Based on 2007’s record-breaking year, Adam & Eve’s 2008 sale figures were down 3.6%. However, orders were down only 1.3%.

“This shows us that customers were still ordering our products,” continues Davis, “They just weren’t spending as much money per order.”

Online entertainment sales increased as well as online product sales from the website. Last year also saw increased sales of massagers. In addition, Adamandeve.com sold more personal lubricants than ever before.

Other areas of growth in 2008 were sales through radio and television marketing channels. These areas saw double digit growth.

Product sales from the traditional print sources decreased. These decreases were anticipated.

With more than 10 million satisfied customers and nearly 40 years in business, Adam & Eve continues to set the bar in adult entertainment and sales.

Jesse Jane loves her iPhone

February 2, 2009

From Adultfyi.com

jesse_jane1
Jesse Jane

LAS VEGAS — Technology and pornography have had a long, mutually beneficial relationship, with each depending on the other for growth. From smaller film cameras to VCRs to the internet, the porn business has relied on technology to reach its audience in increasingly personal ways. The technology makers, on the other hand, have needed the adult industry to buy their goods early to fuel further development and their eventual goal of reaching a larger, mainstream market.

Digital Playground, one of the bigger U.S. adult entertainment companies based in California’s San Fernando valley — also known as “porn valley” — prides itself on being one of the first of the early technology adopters. The company, founded in 1993 by University of Southern California film student Ali Joone, was the first movie studio — adult or mainstream — to shoot a high-definition film (Island Fever 3 in 2004).

The company also prides itself on raising the bar in adult film production. Its Pirates: Stagnetti’s Revenge release last September cost a record $10 million US to make and, besides the requisite X-rated sex scenes, features full-on plot, character development, dialogue and even special effects.

Jesse Jane, star of Pirates and current industry “it” girl, discussed the relationship between porn and technology with CBCNews.ca at the recent Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.

CBCNews.ca: Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? How did you get into the business and why?

I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and I moved around a lot because my dad was in the Air Force. I currently live in Oklahoma.

This is my sixth year in the business, and I got into it by actually contacting Digital Playground. I liked porn and I wanted to be a porn star. They were really high quality, really classy, and I liked their product, and I wanted to be a part of it. I’ve always wanted to be a sex symbol, so I contacted them and asked, “How do I become a porn star?” They told me to e-mail some pictures, and I did, and the same day they called me back and said, “Hey, we’ve got a ticket for you to come down to L.A.. Let’s talk.”

So I flew to L.A. the next day and met with [company founders] Joone and Samantha Lewis, and the next day I had a contract. They had never seen me naked and never seen me perform a scene, and I had never done anything like that before. I had never been a stripper, I just worked at Hooters, and I was a Hawaiian Tropic model, but I knew what I wanted. I’m a very sexual person.

Lucky for me I’ve never been exposed to anything bad. I work with the No. 1 company, and they treat me really well, and still six years later, I’m having the time of my life. There’s always new things — we travel the world, I only shoot five or six movies a year so I don’t overshoot, and I still really enjoy it.

CBCNews.ca: With technology as advanced as it is, there’s a lot of opportunities for actresses like yourself to go into business for yourself, as we’ve seen with several other adult stars. How much longer do you want to be a contract star? Do you see yourself doing something on your own in the future?

Definitely not. I’m partners with Digital Playground, and I get to experience a lot of things with them … I’m always [getting] a percentage [of film revenue]. When you run your own company, you lose a lot of contacts. I have contacts all around the world, but you have to learn a lot more about the business.

Don’t get me wrong — I go on the business trips with them, I’m very smart and I get it, but why ruin something when I have good contacts and good distribution? They market me like nobody can market me, and they treat me good. It’s not like I’m not making good money. Anything new that comes up, I’m definitely a part of with a percentage. We’re going to make our own toy line this year, and we’ll even have a Pirates line. I’m going to be part of making the mouldings for that line and wherever we go to pick them out. I really get to do a lot of stuff, so I’m not really ever excluded from anything.

And another thing about running your own company — those people that do it aren’t as popular now as they used to be. Why risk that when I have such a good thing going on?

CBCNews.ca: So in your career, you’ve seen high-definition video come in. How has that changed what you do? There have been stories about actresses having to get surgery redone and that sort of thing.

A lot of people were worried about it, but in all honesty, it’s the best thing that’s happened to us, because a lot of women are now more comfortable watching porn because they see we’re not these fancy characters. Every girl has a flaw. Guys feel like we’re more realistic, we’re not these blown-up things. When they meet you, you really look like that in person. You’re not getting a “whoa, you don’t look like that on film!”

You would think that in this business your job is your body and that many girls would take care of it, but a lot of them wouldn’t because you can cheat with this lighting or that angle. Now it makes the girls work hard, and it’s good for them. They’ll actually work out now and eat better, or not sit there and drink. They take care of themselves because their skin will break out. It’s a more realistic picture.

CBCNews.ca: Besides high-definition, what other technologies are you seeing that are notable or interesting?

There’s always new stuff going on. Just in toys, they’re always coming up with these inventions like Sybians and crazy machines to have sex with or get tied up with.

Now we’re shooting on the Red [digital HD] cameras — I think Digital Playground is the only one — and we have all the Blu-ray coming out. I’m learning with my little camera and my website, where I’m able to upload daily diary videos, which is fun. Technology is getting a lot easier to make things more personal with your fans. They like the daily clips. Now we can watch porn with our iPhones, and in the next month or two, with Digital Playground we’re going to be able to stream, Twitter and live iChat on our website from our iPhones.

‘Now we can watch porn with our iPhones, and in the next month or two, with Digital Playground we’re going to be able to stream, Twitter and live iChat on our website from our iPhones.’ —Jesse Jane

There’s always something new coming up with technology in this business, which makes it really cool, really personal and convenient. If you travel a lot, like some of us girls do … I love my iPhone because I can sit there and check my e-mail and update my website from my phone while I’m sitting there waiting at the airport. Who knows what’s going to be next? I’m curious about what’s next.

CBCNews.ca: Why is the industry so quick to adopt new technology?

I honestly don’t know, I think they just want to be the first ones. They want to keep up with it because they want people to keep buying their product. So when new stuff comes out, people will buy it again. So it’s almost like they’re selling different pieces of the same product in a different way. That could be part of it — it’s good money.
CBCNews.ca: One of the technologies that got a big buzz over at the Consumer Electronics Show was 3-D television. Joone was telling us he’s thinking about doing a 3-D movie — has he said anything to you about it?

No, but honestly I’ve been travelling so much that I haven’t seen anybody. But I think 3-D porn would be cool! Can you imagine a penis flying at you? Or … the boobs are popping out of the screen at you? That would be a lot of fun, almost like a game.

I’m sure Joone is on top of that, and if we do it, I think 3-D porn would be awesome!

CBCNews.ca: Porn has been moving mainstream for some time now, particularly in the past 10 years or so. How much more acceptable do you think it is today?

It’s much more acceptable these days. Sex is not such a taboo word. Everybody is [still somewhat] afraid of sex, but we need to be more like Europe, where everybody is open about their sexuality. Sex is everywhere, everyone has sex, it’s beautiful, it’s natural, it’s art. Just keep it away from kids, at least be over 18.

A lot of people who complain are the ones who are afraid of their sexuality, they don’t have a good sex life, or they’re uncomfortable and have no self-confidence with themselves, so they want to put the downer on everyone else. It’s the ones who are not getting laid at home and who are worried about their husbands or are so uncomfortable about themselves because they’ve let themselves go. They look for porn and everything becomes our fault.
